Royal Residency is a clean accommodation facility located very close to the major Ayyappa pilgrimage center in Erumely, Kerala. It is situated on main road, very near (approx 50 meters) from Major Sree Dharmasastha (Ayyappa) Temple. It is also very close to pilgrimage route toward Sabarimala.  
The lodge consists of 24 rooms, including A.C. and non-A.C. rooms, as well as dormitories. Single, Double, Triple, and Rooms without a coat are also available. The Management and staff keep Good relations with all its guests, especially Sabarimala pilgrims, who are regular visitors every year. Sabarimala Pilgrims from all over the world, namely Malaysia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, are regular visitors to the Lodge. Also, Ayyappa Pilgrims from nearby states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka are frequent guests at the lodge, and those who have stayed once are preferring the lodge for future stays and recommending it to friends, since they get a homely atmosphere here.
